About the Author
The Retroist is Dean Abbott’s personal blog. Dean has blogged at a number of sites since 2004, including his long-standing blog, Inspired By A True Story. Dean is a freelance writer whose work has appeared in multiple newspapers and magazines. Over the years, he has also worked as a radio talk show host, a janitor, a mental health counselor and college instructor. He lives in Kentucky with his wife, daughter and three-legged dog.
